In the morning we drive to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum, and the Temple of Artemis (Lunch Optional). Qsar Al-Azraq
Today starts our tour to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan. We visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Amra Castle with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. Moreover, you view the fortress-like mysterious Qasr Kharanah and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq. Back in Amman, we discover the historical places downtown. The Citadel Hill with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, like the Umayyad Palace, enjoying views over hilly Amman and the Roman Theatre. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, and Jabal Amman with its distinctive early 20th-century architecture. Overnight Amman hotel.

Check out from the hotel and drive to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. Short ride to Mt. Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died and believed it to be his burial place. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. At Dead Sea Beach, the lowest point on earth, you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to float on salty waters. Driving towards Petra. Overnight Petra hotel.

Petra Full Day Visit - Wadi Rum Overnight.

Visit the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire. You can start the trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so-called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh's Castle. We drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live traditionally, and by 4x4 Jeep tour, you discover canyons, dunes, and Nabatean rock inscriptions. Overnight in Wadi Rum.

Aqaba Marine Park
In the morning we drive 45 minutes south to the city of Aqaba, you have the opportunity for some marine activities to explore the corals through a cruise in a glass boat (Optional), and the rest of the day to rest and relax. Overnight in Aqaba.
